Annual Pumpkin Party

Every year my husband's family gathers at his Uncle's house to pick pumpkins and have a potluck.  Uncle Paul plants a huge patch of pumpkins and invites people from far and near to come pick as many as they want.  It is the only time of the year we are able to see a few of those family members.

He owns about 30 acres of land, all forest and creek, beautiful.  The scenery is always gorgeous, along with the great company.  He has many maintained trails through the property that always provide for a very fun and relaxing walk in the woods.

My girls love taking turns with all their cousins on the riding law mower.  Uncle Paul always hooks up the trailer so we can all deliver our pumpkins from the field back up to our cars.

And it's always a great day to get some fantastic shots of my pretty girls.

It was a beautiful, warm fall day and we had a great time.  I'll leave you with a few more photos.

Get out there and enjoy the pretty weather!  What's your favorite fall family tradition?
